What happens after you finish Invisalign?2021-04-15T08:55:39+00:00

Wearing a retainer after Invisalign helps ensure a long lasting, straight smile. Most patients start by wearing their retainers full time for a short period of time, and then transition to only wearing retainers at night — and in some cases eventually only a few nights per week.

Can you eat with Invisalign in?2021-04-15T08:55:16+00:00

One of the best things about Invisalign is that your clear aligners are entirely removable, meaning that they can be taken out at mealtimes. This is a massive benefit compared to conventional braces which are permanent and therefore will be left in place while you eat.

Is Invisalign Painful?2021-04-15T08:54:55+00:00

No, Invisalign isn’t painful. Think of it just like traditional orthodontic treatment. When you first get braces, your teeth may feel uncomfortable given the pressure being exerted – however your mouth should get used to this quickly. Also unlike normal braces – you can remove your clear braces whenever you want.

What is the shortest amount of time to wear Invisalign?2021-04-15T08:54:18+00:00

Most Invisalign Dentists instruct you to wear the Invisalign 20 to 22 hours every day. This allows your teeth to move toward alignment in the shortest amount of time. If you don’t change to the next tray on time, it is like not getting your braces tightened. This stops the progression toward straight teeth.

How long does it take for Invisalign to work?2021-04-15T08:52:18+00:00

On average, Invisalign treatment time is 12 to 18 months, though you can start seeing results in a matter of weeks. See before and after results from our Invisalign patients.

How much will Invisalign cost me?2021-04-15T08:51:42+00:00

This will really depend on the complexity of your treatment – and the most effective way to determine the complexity will be to book in for a free Invisalign consultation so our Expert Dentists can advise you.  To provide you with a guide of the potential options please visit our financial page.

How does the Invisalign process work?2021-04-15T08:51:00+00:00

Step One:
Book your free Invisalign consultation: You can book your free Invisalign consultation with one of our Elite Dental Providers at our Waterloo or Barbican clinic, both of which undergo stringent monitoring to ensure compliance with current COVID guidelines. At your free consultation, you will attend your appointment in person for a free 3D scan (called the ‘Invisalign Clincheck’) to determine the complexity of your Invisalign treatment. Our experienced dentists use state of the art 3D dental scanners without the need for uncomfortable moulds. The Invisalign Clincheck allows you to view week by week how your teeth will move. As well as giving you an accurate time frame to straighten your teeth – we can also give you an exact quote after your free Invisalign consultation. You will see exactly how your new smile will look.

Step Two:
Discuss Finance Options: At your free consultation we will also discuss the potential finance options available to you at 0% interest – which will allow you to spread the cost of your treatment! Once you have discussed your treatment with your practice and agreed the cost, we will send you an application link to you by email or text message which will allow you to apply online, in the comfort of your home or you can apply at the practice. Simply complete your details online and submit for approval. 10 seconds later, you will receive a decision. When the loan is approved, simply sign the credit agreement online! The whole process is completely web-based to make getting the treatment you want easier, faster and more affordable. You can learn more about how our Financing Process works here.

Step Three:
Start Your Smile Journey!: Once you agree your treatment plan with your Dental Expert, and your finance plan, you’ll receive a series of custom-made aligners to wear every day and change at home (on average every 1 to 2 weeks). You’ll see your Dedicated Invisalign Dentist every 6 to 8 weeks to keep on track. If you have any questions or concerns during the process – our Dedicated Dental Experts are here to help guide you and offer you the support you need – in person if needed.
